Challenger 2009, the annual sports and cultural event of Chetana’s was spread over a period of 4 days, from 27th January to 30th January.

The promotional activity for each class started on 20th January, with each class choosing a theme to decorate classroom and Institute campus.

The main event started with flag hoisting by Ms. Madhumita Patil (CEO), in presence of teaching, non-teaching staff and students, all dressed up in Challenger T-shirts, representing a spirit of challenging each other through collaborative efforts.

The competition started with indoor as well as outdoor games including carrom, table-tennis, box cricket, volley ball. Further days saw various sports events including football, throwball, handball, tug of war. All the classes participated in sports with full enthusiasm and energy.

Challenger 2009 witnessed inclusion of three new activities namely Mr. Chetana & Ms. Chetana, Super Challenger.

Mr. Chetana and Ms. Chetana had students vying for the coveted title by showcasing their talent both in academics & extra co-curricular events. The Super Challenger unveiled the teamwork and group excellence through management games.

The finale was truly grand for its exuberance. The participants in the countdown witnessed a rush of adrendine as they waited the announcement of winners by the young model cum choreographer judges Mr. Vivek Pawar & Mrs. Archana Pawar who besides judging the closing events added the much needed spice & glamour to the event, making it, memorable.

By far the Retail division came out as overall winners. Mr. Chetana’s title went to Mr. Yash Sheth - PG Retail & the title of Ms. Chetana went to Ms. Priyam Mehrotra - PG B.

The event did not spare the staff members who rubbed shoulders with the young student.

The event being a team event, saw the sportsman spirit and team work in every sphere. It also helped students to enhance their live skills like working under pressure, etc.

The event attracted big bunch of sponsorship from sponsors such as LiveWire, Javed Habib, JAM, Bonanza, etc.
