Indian Ethos in global corporate environment: |
- Role of B Schools |
| |
| Ethos is a Greek word meaning character that is used to describe the guiding beliefs or ideas that characterize a community, nation or ideology. Ethos can simply mean the dispositions or fundamental values peculiar to a specific person, people, culture of movement. The Ethos refers to the spirit which motivates ideas, and customs. |
| |
| Indian management has changed radically over the last few decades. Indian ethos is deeply rooted in its culture and religious values. In today’s global competitive era how does this ethos shape the future of India story? We also need to critically examine the role B-schools have in inculcation of this ethos. |
| |
| The Intensive Analysis should include following Points: |
- What role does ethos have in shaping the future of an organization? Elaborate w.r.t. the global scenario.
- Highlight the ethos that are effective in today’s management practices.
- Analysis of Indian ethos vis a vis International ethos.
- Are Indian ethos reasonably accepted in global business environment?
Elaborate with factors.
- Which ethos is sustainable for India considering global competition? How can B-schools create “Indianized” ethos?
