CIMR students Shubham Repale, Tanvi Hule and Aniket Dahake successfully participated and won 1st position in the MUNIJAN 2025 competition. It was organized by University of Mumbai on 3rd of October 2025. This competition provided a platform to showcase presentation skills on smart living tool. Stidents presented on ‘Piezoelectricty: From Foot-step to Power’, which focused on piezoelectricity- a sustainable and environmentally friendly energy source as it converts readily available mechanical energy from ambient sources like vibrations and movement into clean electricity, thereby reducing reliance on fossil fuels and promoting a greener energy landscape sustainability in modern urban planning. Students impressed the judges with a clear narrative, strong visual support, and confident responses during the question-and-answer session.
CIMR team was awarded 1st Place in the MUNIJAN 2025 and the judges appreciated the depth of research, innovative ideas, and impactful presentation style. This achievement reflects the hard work, mentorship, and from Dr. Sandeep Nemlekar, Prof. Melanie David and Prof Abhishek Shukla.
